Deals on the Run ("we", "us") is operated by Flowbear Holdings LLC. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
This is a static website. We do not require accounts, and we do not ask you for personal information to browse. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations, and we use analytics cookies as described below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages and deals people visit, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they're on. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects usage data including a randomly generated identifier, your approximate location derived from IP address, and the pages you view. We use this in aggregate to decide which deals and articles are worth publishing; we do not use it to identify you personally.
We also record when a visitor clicks an outbound deal link, along with which deal it was, so we can tell which discounts are actually useful. This is recorded as an anonymous event, not tied to a named person.
Google's handling of this data is governed by theGoogle Privacy Policy. You can opt out across all sites using Google'sbrowser opt-out add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings — the site works fine either way.
Email newsletter
If you subscribe to our email list, we collect your email address, which is stored and processed by our email provider (Beehiiv) to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and we'll remove you from the list.
Affiliate links
When you click a deal link, you leave this site and go to a retailer. Affiliate networks and retailers (such as Amazon, AvantLink, and Impact partners) may set cookies in your browser to attribute the referral. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's and network's own privacy policies, not ours.
Third-party sites
We link out to retailers and other sites. Their content and privacy practices are their own — review their policies before providing them any information.
